Psychotherapy

Individuals, Couples and Groups
with an expertise in somatic interventions and integration

My approach is a warm, engaging and direct style of relationship that is professional and safe. My clients report that they feel seen and understood by me and appreciate my honest and direct feedback that gets to the point quickly.

I specialize in Orgonomy, a form of somatic psychotherapy that explores life-long troubling issues embedded in the body as well as the mind, and which are often not accessible through traditional talk therapy. Sessions include verbal depth therapy and somatic interventions, when appropriate.

Would you like to:

  • Live without crippling depression or anxiety?
  • Overcome low self-esteem?
  • Change negative reactionary patterns?
  • Develop better communication skills?
  • Create and maintain healthy relationships?
  • Heal from grief and loss?
  • Feel expansive and creative?

Emotional suffering can be viewed as an opportunity, and is a doorway into a rich journey of self-exploration. Many people yearn for wholeness and psychological wellbeing, yet don’t know where to begin. Psychotherapy is a unique relationship that provides insights, clarity and support in a contained and safe environment. If you would like to explore working together, please contact me for a free 1/2 hour phone consultation.

What is Orgonomic Psychotherapy and How Can It Help You?

Developed by Wilhelm Reich, the father of somatic psychology, Orgonomic Psychotherapy (also known as Reichian Therapy) involves two main components: verbal character analysis and biophysical interventions.  This sophisticated method of character transformation recognizes the mind/body interface and promotes profound change. Character includes the personality and the entire emotional range as well as cognitions (thoughts), attitudes, beliefs, relational style and defensive structure. The biophysical (somatic) work is done within the understanding of the client’s character style. Releasing muscular armoring brings lasting relief from emotional and physical suffering.

Orgonomic Psychotherapy:

  • Recognizes the mind/body interface
  • Reveals your unique character style
  • Provides interventions using the breath, release of tight musculature, and supports emotional expression
  • Shifts anxiety and depressive symptoms
  • Evokes and supports your deepest yearnings
  • Allows healthy expansion into your wholeness

Learn more about how I work with Orgonomic Psychotherapy.

Let me support you in your challenges and help you see yourself and your symptoms in the context of your character. Through the biophysical work, I will guide the energetic release of your muscular armoring that has kept you restricted.

The result of this work is liberation from debilitating symptoms and a sense of transformation into your true, whole, and creative Self.
